Members of Ann Arbor, Michigan progressive pop band Tally Hall were also involved with a comedy troupe, so it's fitting that the lines between sincere respect and tongue-in-cheek joking on their rendition of Long Island, New York clown prince of hip hop Biz Markie's 1989 hit "Just a Friend" are blurred to the point of being indistinguishable.
