Antwerp, Belgium metal punkabilly band Hellsonics cover the 1996 goth country (yup.... goth country) single "Black Soul Choir" from Denver, Colorado based 16 Horsepower.
My wife, who is like a breathing encyclopedia of every song ever recorded ever, had never heard of 16 Horsepower. When she listened to the original, she asked if it was Rusted Root covering David Byrne.
That's pretty accurate.... if David Byrne was weaned on sermons by Jonathan Edwards.
