Dallas, Texas Christian post-grunge band Seventh Day Slumber slightly heavy up the 1988 power ballad "When the Children Cry," originally by Copenhagen, Denmark by way of New York City glam metal band White Lion.

Thanks to the accompanying video, I now know that there was a British magazine in the 1970s called "Titbits."

Tee hee. I'm 12.

Here's Monterrey, Mexico band Jumbo with their remake of Pixies' 1989 breakthrough song "Here Comes Your Man."

Danish/American duo Gliss perform an,,,, interesting.... version of Jacksonville, Florida group Limp Bizkit's 1999 nu metal song "Nookie."

When they play this song live, the crowd forms a mosh pit in which the dancers sway a few times before falling asleep.

Here's a cover of 1985 new wave hit "Voices Carry" by Boston, Massachusetts band 'Til Tuesday courtesy of New York City gloom punk band Desert Sharks.

The only way that there would be sharks in the desert is if they were picked up by a giant tornado and carried over the dunes, then dropped.

And, that's just absurd.

But, hopefully not TOO absurd, as I've written a screenplay about this exact thing happening.

I call it "Tornark," which is a clever combination of the words "tornado" and "shark."

Seriously hoping that it takes off, because these student loans aren't going to pay themselves.

On this May Day, here is Tallahassee, Florida emo pop band Mayday Parade with their version of "Comedown," the 1995 release from London, UK post-grunge band Bush.

I'll peg Gavin Rossdale's euphoria at a mid-level, so like an altostratus cloud.

Altostratus clouds are generally between 8,000 and 15,000 feet in the air.

That makes the average alto stratus cloud approximately 11,500 feet in the air.

Using the Rapid Tables website, this equates to roughly 3,505 meters above the ground.

I suck at Physics, so can't confirm this, but this website says that objects fall at a rate of 9.8 meters per second.

So, it should take just shy of six minutes for Gavin to come back down from this cloud.
