Siheung, South Korea K-rock quintet Rolling Quartz cover "Youth Gone Wild," the 1989 debut single from Toms River, New Jersey glam metal band Skid Row.

There's a three-part documentary currently airing on the Peacock network that delves into the early 2000's "Girls Gone Wild" phenomenon.

"18 and Life" by Hydrogyn

 




On today's date in 1869, Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev presented the first periodic table of the elements.

So, here's Ashland, Kentucky female fronted metal band Hydrogyn with their version of "18 and Life," the 1989 breakout hit for Toms River, New Jersey glam band Skid Row.

"I Remember You" by The Ataris


 

Happy Memorial Day!

Anderson, Indiana pop punk band The Ataris cover Toms River, New Jersey glam metal band Skid Row's 1989 power ballad "I Remember You."

Though the tune's about reminiscing of a love gone by, it could also be about remembering those who were lost during military action.

Or, it could be about me remembering all of the lyrics to a song that I hadn't listened to in roughly three decades.
