"The End" by Fall of Saigon

Well, "United" States.... it's been a pretty decent run.

Not many countries can say that they've reached their 250th birthday.

Neither can we, as it turns out.

Here's French band Fall of Saigon with their version of "The End," the 1967 psychedelic epic from The Doors.

For more Doors covers, Episode Six's version of "Light My Fire" can be found here, Skald's version of "Riders on the Storm" can be found here, and Blues Traveler's version of "Roadhouse Blues" can be found here.

"Light My Fire" by Episode Six

Episode Six were a band formed in London, UK during the mid 1960's, and, according to this article, never got around to releasing an official album.

Luckily, their psychedelic art rock was preserved and finally made public on the album "Cornflakes and Crazyfoam."

The album had a release date of 2002, so their version of "Light My Fire," the 1967 single from acid blues rockers The Doors, was 34 years young upon its translation to CD.

For more Doors covers, Skald's version of "Riders on the Storm" can be found here, and Blues Travelers' version of "Roadhouse Blues" can be found here.

"Riders on the Storm" by Skald

French Pagan folk band Skald mix Viking style chants with ancient instruments like the talharpa, lyre, and hurdy gurdy to reflect what Los Angeles, California acid rock band The Doors would sound like if they recorded in the Scandanavian fjords a thousand years ago.

This is their take on the 1971 psychedelic art rock single "Riders on the Storm."

For another Doors cover, Blues Traveler's version of "Roadhouse Blues" can be found here.

"Roadhouse Blues" by Blues Traveler

Arguably the greatest harmonica player to ever pick up the instrument, virtuoso John Popper shows off his extraordinary skills and unique voice on Blues Traveler's reworking of the 1970 classic rock staple "Roadhouse Blues," originally recorded by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Doors.
